YOUTH LEAGUE RULES 2008

Players must be 10 years of age to 16 years of age (if you turn 17 during league, you can still play in youth league.  No one under 16 will be allowed to play in Youth League without a parents consent.

All players must sign a waiver.  A release of liability to play paintball.

No alcohol or illegal drugs allowed.

No profanity allowed on the field.

Barrel Plugs or Condoms must be used at all times!

Field Paint Only!

All markers must be chronographed before each game.  Markers can be set no higher than 280fps.  If a referee checks your gun, you will be allowed to fire two to three times into the woods, and then once over the chronograph, this should eliminate CO2 spiking causing the hot gun.  If  you are running higher than 280, there will be a point deduction from your team as follows:

281 -  285 = 10 points

286 – 290 = 20 points

291 – 300 = 40 points

301 and Over = 50 point penalty, plus the player (not another teammate) will be eliminated from one game.  The team must play with one man down.   If the penalty is during the last game of the day, the player will sit out the first game of the following week.

Remember, it is only a game - keep your sense of humor, play fair, have fun.  If someone is doing something they shouldn't,  politely make sure they know to not do it again, and go on with the next game.  If they continue, report it to the referee's so they can check into it.

All players must remain within boundaries to remain in play.  If a player goes out of bounds, they will be eliminated from the game.

There is no elimination if the paintball does not break upon impact.  If the paintball splatters after hitting a tree or other object, and leaves over a quarter size mark, the player is eliminated.  Hits on your body/clothing/gear, gun or hopper,  count as a hit .  If you are caught rubbing off paint while in the game to avoid calling yourself "out", or playing on after you have been hit,  you will not be allowed to play, you will be pulled from the game, and at the discretion of the referee, one of your teammates can be pulled from the game also.

When a player has been hit in a location that he cannot see, he may call for a paint check.  The player must call "PAINTCHECK ME" and continue to play.  Once the paint check has been resolved the judge will call the player in or out, and the game will resume.

If you shoot a player, and he is hit, QUIT SHOOTING!!!!!!  Excessive shooting will cause you to be ejected from the game.  Be careful not to shoot players that are "out" and are leaving the field.

Once you are hit, loudly call "HIT", raise your hand, or marker over your head in a waving motion, and exit the field to your designated "deadbox".  Keep your hands up while leaving the field to avoid being shot.

Players must quickly exit the field of play to the "deadbox", no talking or gesturing to active players, Dead Players cannot talk to Live Players - Dead Men Don't Talk!  Once you are out of your bunker YOU CANNOT SPEAK!  You cannot gesture or otherwise convey any information to any other player.  Talking or pointing will result in one of your teammates being pulled from the game.

Imitating a "HIT" player will not be tolerated.

Unsportsman like conduct, on or off the field, during youth league will result in a deduction of points from your team.

PENALTIES:

Wiping 1 for 1

Talking after shot out (dead) – 1 for 1

Leaving starting box early – Dead for the game
